EXCELLENT Based on 50 reviews Posted on Jos SmitsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The guide, Rob, told amazing stories and wonderful information. His enthusiasm and senserity made history feel as if coming alive, but also pointed out new facts and wonderful places. For example showing the most cute cat cafe, but subsequently getting attention back to the history of medieval sieges of both me and my cat loving girlfriend. He took plenty of time and gave us wonderful suggestions where to go next. If you ever visit Newcastle, for sure get a tour here. PS: many credits and big shoutout to the casual mention of historical 'reliability' of Victorian history writing!Posted on James IrwinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Another year comes to an end for Red Beard Tours, I walked the last of my tours for the year with a lovely group this afternoon. It’s now time for me to get into the Christmas spirit and take some time off until the new year.
Thank you to all the wonderful people who booked tours with me this year, I hope you had as much fun on the tour as I did meeting you all.
Please spread the word to anyone you know who might be interested in a tour, and if you haven’t left a review of the tour yet you would be doing me a huge favour by doing so.
The best place to leave reviews for me would be on Google. Search for Red Beard Tours, click on “Reviews” on the business details pane, and from there you can click “Write a review”.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and look forward to seeing you again!
Rob & my cat, Zigbee.

Red Beard Tours offers affordable, accessible, approximately two hour and a half hour long tours around the beautiful city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne all year round. As an accessible tour the time it takes is dependent on the ability of the visitor (some people need more time), and the amount of questions guests might have. I always welcome questions!
The current tour will give you an overview of the city, which is perfect for visitors to get their bearings when first visiting the city, but is also enjoyed by regular visitors and locals alike. The tour will take you through the characters and history of Grainger Town & Market, Blackfriars Friary, Chinatown, the town walls, cathedrals, Stephenson Quarter, the castle, and ending by the castle and High Level Bridge that has a breathtaking view of the river Tyne and it’s world famous bridges.
Further tours and some local history videos are being planned so please keep an eye out for those. Updates regarding these will be posted on social media so do take a look by following the links above, and by following those pages to be kept informed.
You can also purchase gift cards, either as a gift for someone else, or for your own use later on when you might have a better idea of when you can travel again. Purchasing a gift card now will support me while I have no other income. This can be done by clicking the book now button and selecting Gift Card from the options.
I look forward to welcoming you, showing you the beauty of Newcastle, and teaching you some of it’s fascinating history!
Thank you,
Rob (& his cat, Zigbee!)
